During a recent thunderstorm, the magnificent ballroom at Barr Mansion was struck by lightening and completely destroyed by fire. Even with the aid of insurance, Barr Mansion needs help raising funds to rebuild the ballroom to its former glory. Friends, family and fans of Barr Mansion have organized a Bar(r)n Raising fundraiser and event at the wonderful Exotic Game Ranch at Texas Disposal System, an evening of celebration for the rebuilding of Barr Mansion, featuring artisan food and beverages from notable Austin restaurants and chefs. Please join us for an old-fashioned Bar(r)n Raising and make your donation at the door!

Directions from Austin: Take IH-35 South to Exit #223 (FM 1327). Turn left on FM 1327. Go 3.3 miles east of IH-35 and turn left on Carl Road (past the main landfill entrance). Proceed 8/10 mile. The ranch entrance will be on your left immediately past the old cemetery.
