Can you deliver to my office?
Absolutely! Many people who live outside of our delivery area chose delivery at their office within our delivery area. Also, some people share their order with an office mate and prefer office delivery.
What does my Farm Membership include?
Membership includes either weekly or bi-weekly (every other week) delivery of delicious, fresh, seasonal produce from Rain Lily Farm and other local farms, plus access to Rain Lily Farm events, potlucks, pickling parties, gardening and cooking classes, happy hours, online weekly farm menu planner, farm field trips, and farm work days, all for a reasonable weekly charge of $37 (or $39 for bi-weekly deliveries). No large up-front payment required!
What is the cost of the membership?
The cost for the weekly delivery farm membership is $37 per delivery. The cost for the bi-weekly (every-other week) farm membership is $39 per delivery. Both levels of membership will also pay a $20 one-time set-up fee for the cost of bins, bags and cold packs. This payment can roll over to consecutive seasons.
Can I choose the items in my bushel?
We select the items for the bushel based on harvest reports, what is in season and of the highest quality. If there is an item planned for the delivery that you really don't like, let us know and we will replace it with something else. Also remember that we always include recipes and cooking ideas for all our produce, so even unfamiliar foods and things you think you might not like can become new favorites!
Can I put my deliveries on hold?
Sure. Just email us 48 hours prior to your delivery day, and your card will not be charged for that week's delivery.
How do I sign up?
Go to our website order page and choose your Farm Membership option!
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask farm members to make a commitment to our growers and producers for a season, but you may cancel at any time if the service is not working for you for any reason.
Where does the produce come from?
Our produce comes from Rain Lily Farm, Montesino Farm, Ringger Family Farm, Acadian Family Farm, Tecolote Farm, G&S Groves, and other small local farms. The farms we work with are either certified organic or use organic, sustainable methods for growing your food. Each bushel contains a list identifying the farm where each item was grown. We also offer field trips to the farms we buy from so you can see your produce growing yourselves!
How is the Farm Membership different from a CSA?
Farmhouse Delivery Farm Membership offers the benefits of a traditional CSA with the flexibility of a grocery delivery service. We bring the farm to your doorstep each week, saving you time and money on gas. Your buying dollars go towards supporting many local farms. Also, buying from multiple farmers means the greatest variety and the best quality available!
How do I add on other non-produce items?
Simple--each week, you will receive an email reminding you to go online and purchase any items you'd like to add on to your delivery.
How do I pay?
When you sign up for farm membership, you will pay through our secure online payment system by debit or credit card for your first delivery ($37 for weekly membership, $39 for bi-weekly membership) plus a one-time $20 set-up fee. For subsequent deliveries, your card will be charged automatically. When you add on items to your regular delivery, you can also pay by debit or credit card.
Do you deliver in my area?
You can check out our zip code chart below to see the delivery day for your zip code. If we don’t deliver to your area, contact us at 512-529-8569 or email us at info@farmhousedelivery.com for group drop-off options, or to schedule a pick-up at Rain Lily Farm.
How many does a bushel serve?
Expect 7-10 types of produce each week, depending upon what is in season. The number of servings will depend on your appetite and how often you eat at home.
What if I'm not going to be home?
No need to be home for delivery! Your order will arrive in insulated cooler bags with an ice pack and will remain fresh and cool at your door until you return. After the first delivery, simply leave your empty cooler bags from the prior delivery at the door, and we will trade them out with new ones filled with fresh, lovely produce, grass-fed pastured meats, dairy, eggs, bread & other artisan products.
