Stephanie Scherzer, Founder – Stephanie's vision is to better connect communities with their land, and make local food more accessible. Her love of farming and passion for sustainable living are guiding principles behind Farmhouse Delivery and its dedicated staff. She moved to Austin in '93 and has more than 20 years of experience in horticulture – managing John Dromgoole's The Natural Gardner nursery and working for a design build landscape company. She is eager to help others cultivate a deeper understanding of where food comes from, and empower them to be a part of the process. Stephanie and her partner Kim Beal also own and operate Rain Lily Farm, which is a source of nutritious food for their family, and a contributor to Farmhouse Delivery bushels. As a farmer and mother, Stephanie believes in the benefits of small-scale urban farming, and is proud to be an active part of the Austin Urban Farms group. Stephanie graduated from the The University of Mississippi with a degree in political science and Spanish.
Andy Schoonover, Partner and CFO - Andy found Farmhouse after a pursuit of trying to find the best locally produced foods in Texas. He was a customer, then investor, now full time employee focused on the company’s sales and marketing strategy. Andy is a graduate from the University of Virginia and got his MBA from Graduate School of Business at Stanford University. Andy lives in Austin with his wife Stephanie and their pup Butler.

Amanda Cowan, VP of Marketing - Amanda joins Farmhouse from Scripps Networks Interactive where she was the Product Manager for FoodNetwork.com. She came to Scripps Network through the acquisition of Food on the Table, a startup that developed a top rated food & drink app. Previously, she worked at Whole Foods Market headquarters in both the private label and marketing. Fascinated by all things food, she equally enjoys her vegetable garden, dining out, meal planning, and experimenting with her two-year-old son’s palate. She earned an MBA from University of Texas at Austin and is a graduate of Washington & Lee University.

Ren Garcia, Executive Chef at Farmhouse Kitchen and Supper Club - Chef Ren Garcia has helped run some of Austin's top-rated restaurants for the last 14 years. At both Vespaio and Dai Due he crafted locally-sourced and seasonal menus that supported the health and economy of the community. Born and raised in Texas, it brings him pride and joy to support the hardworking farms and ranches of the state. He is excited to bring his recipes, skills, techniques and ideas directly to your doorstep. Starting with the freshest, purest products is the key, and Ren is here to help take you from ingredients to the perfect meal.
Russell Cullen, Kitchen Manager
The Farmhouse Kitchen and Supper Club Team includes - Jana K Cullen, Connor Mayfield, John Dailey, and Tree Chuning.
Melody McClary, Product Manager & Lead Buyer – Having worked as a Texas farmer herself, Melody knows local produce and loves exposing people of all ages to the many varieties of it. She believes in delicious locally-grown food, and cultivating relationships with area growers that truly benefit our community.
The Buying Team also includes - Assistant Buyer, Justin Hubbard.
Jake Milliner, Customer Experience Director - Jake moved to Austin in 2010 after graduating from Ball State University. He enjoys exploring the city for outdoor destinations and local food. His hobbies include cooking, gardening and working on classic trucks. He has experience in video production but found his way into the local food community through Farmhouse Delivery.
The Customer Experience Team also includes Julia McMenamin, Customer Experience Agent.
Candace Dill, Packing Room Manager
Packing Room - Our packing room is staffed with careful, discerning folks who take great pride in hand-selecting the food you get each week. The team includes Shawna Eakes, Laura Hajar, Mandy Anglen, Megan Barbour, Kelly Christofferson, Ray Diaz, Forest Kennedy, Daniel Jiminez, Jennifer Parrott, and Matthew Scherzer - all foodies who appreciate high-quality ingredients. There is nothing quite as wonderful as overhearing the team discussing what they cooked last night!
The Warehouse Team includes - Brian Breen (Receiving), Jonathan Weaver (Receiving), Lorne Harley, and Cameron Ratajczak.
Derek Smith, Fleet and Routing Manager - Derek enjoys the open road, maps, and local food, so it is natural that he finds himself a part of the delivery team at Farmhouse. While once a driver himself, he traded in his driving chair for an office chair, spending his days (and often nights) figuring out ways to get all of the delicious local products to our customers around Central Texas, Houston and Dallas with the help of his team of hardworking and dedicated drivers.
Our Fleet and Routing Team also includes Ryan Rice.
Drivers - Our drivers may be the hardest working part of our team. They work long, sometimes lonely hours, to deliver delicious local food right to our members' doors. They deal with traffic, weather and GPS glitches, and still manage to flash their pearly whites at every stop. This group includes Lanell Hall, Brian Petit, Pete Semple, Paul Langberg, Christian Pappas, Kevin Smith, Tim Shaikenwitz, James T. Kent, Ryon Lyons, Richard Landriault, and Steven Mccarty.
